Foals debut ‘A Knife in the Ocean’ at BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale session
Band played a tiny gig at the West London studios.
Last night (21st July), Foals showcased their new album ‘What Went Down’ with an exclusive show at London’s Maida Vale studios.
Playing a special live session for BBC Radio 1, the band previewed songs from their fourth album, out 28th August.
During the show, they debuted brand new song ‘A Knife in the Ocean’, linking up with the record’s title-track and ‘Mountain At My Gates’, which came out earlier this week. Frontman Yannis Philippakis also climbed the Maida Vale studios balcony midway through the show - see photos of his daredevil attempts below.
Check out ‘A Knife in the Ocean’ and the Foals session in full from the 1 hour, 42 minute mark here.
