Frightened Rabbit Announce Brixton Academy Show

Things have been going pretty well for Frightened Rabbit recently. Not only did they land in the Top 20 of the UK Albums Chart with their fourth album ‘Pedestrian Verse’, but they’ve also been celebrating it around the world.

Having since returned to the UK - just in time to celebrate the release of their special Record Store Day 7’ - the Scottish five-piece are gearing up for a summer of festivals.

That’s not all though, oh no. They’ve now announced plans for a very special one-off show at the massive Brixton Academy later this year.

The fivesome will be taking to the stage at the 5,000 capacity South London venue on 8th November, following appearances at the likes of T in the Park, End of the Road and Glastonbury festivals.

Their full itinerary looks something like this:

JUNE
28 - 30 Glastonbury Festival

JULY
12 - 14 T In The Park, Kinross-shire

AUGUST
09 Boardmasters, Newquay
30 - 31 End Of The Road, Dorset

SEPTEMBER
01 End Of The Road, Dorset

NOVEMBER
08 Brixton Academy, London (headline)

The band will also be releasing a special etched 7’ vinyl, titled ‘Norland Wind’, for Record Store Day. The offering is a collaboration with Scottish folk band LAU and marks their second to celebrate this year’s RSD. They’ll also be releasing ‘Architect’ with Manchester Orchestra, having teamed up with Andy Hull earlier this year.
