Listen: Gengahr share new track ‘Burning Air’

They’re releasing ‘Where Wildness Grows’ tomorrow!
So the wait is nearly over – Gengahr are about to release their new album!
Yep, ‘Where Wildness Grows’ finally lands tomorrow (9th March) and after releasing a string of tunes from it – including ‘Carrion’, ‘Mallory’, ‘Before Sunrise’ and the title track – but they’re squeezing in another cut from the album in the form of ‘Burning Air’.
Felix Bushe says of the track: “‘Burning Air’ is a song that screams for integrity. Spits at social climbing, snarls at fairness and champions authenticity and hard work. Sarcastic and truthful in equal measure, it aims to smash through the glass ceiling above us all and cover us in the shard of other people’s insincerity”.
Gengahr are also set to tour the UK in April and May. Tickets are on sale now. They’ll also be hosting their own Gengahr and Friends exhibition between 14th-20th March at Hackney’s Side A/ Side B Gallery. It’ll feature work from the band’s own Hugh Schulte as well as works from Alt-J, Mystery Jets, Marika Hackman, Slaves, Toothless and Puppy.
We caught up with Gengahr to talk all about their second LP. Read the full interview here.
