George Ezra says he quit drinking after the BRITs

George Ezra has claimed that we went a bit overboard with drinking at the BRITs - and he’s since quit the sauce.

Speaking to The Sun, Plucky Geoff says he went a too far during this year’s BRITs (where, if you remember correctly, he was caught on camera sneaking in a cheeky can of Red Stripe).

“I had to pull two shows in the UK so I didn’t drink for four weeks. I realised I’d been drinking for 18 months. I had to stop, I couldn’t keep up. I had to chill out… It got to the point that even if I wanted to carry on, I couldn’t. I was exhausted,” he told the paper.
