Georgia covers Billie Eilish’s ‘everything i wanted’
It comes as part of a new Spotify Singles release.
Georgia has shared a new Spotify Singles album, which includes a cover of Billie Eilish.
The Domino-signed singer has covered the teen superstar’s recent track ‘everything i wanted’.
Also included on the new release is a version of her recent hit single ‘About Work The Dancefloor’. Both tracks were recorded live at Abbey Road Studios in London.
Listen to the new two-track release below.
‘About Work The Dancefloor’ is taken from Georgia’s recent second album ‘Seeking Thrills’, which came out in January via Domino.
In a four-star review of the album, we said: “While MIA is away, Georgia will play. With a similar deft hand at combining global influences, her approach to music-making is one that feels broadly intuitive, dipping a drumstick into cauldrons of party juice and lucid liquids like some kind of indie Willy Wonka, pouring out a larger glass of whatever feels right.”
‘everything i wanted’, meanwhile, was Billie Eilish’s first new material since her fantastic debut album ‘when we all fall asleep where do we go’, and she dedicated the song upon its release to her brother and collaborator Finneas.
“This song is one my brother and I wrote about each other,” she said. “No matter what happens, we always have been and will be there to make it better.”
