Ghostpoet debuts ‘Be Right Back, Moving House’ video
Two-time Mercury Prize nominee just finished a tour with Alt-J.
Ghostpoet has unveiled a video for ‘Be Right Back, Moving House’, a standout track from his latest album ‘Shedding Skin’.
The track itself features Maximo Park’s Paul Smith, and its gloomy pensiveness is mirrored in a video directed by SBlood. It follows the journey of your everyday office suit, someone crippled by routine to the point of exhaustion. “The track and the idea were a perfect fit, lyrically giving me an image of a man climbing an endless set of stairs, one step at a time,” says the director.
Watch the new video below. The Mercury Prize-nominated ‘Shedding Skin’ is out now.
Last month, Ghostpoet and Alt-J teamed up for a Versus interview - they’ve just rounded off UK tour dates together.
