Ghostpoet unveils new track ‘Shedding Skin’

Fresh from playing a handful of headline shows at the end of last month, Ghostpoet has unveiled another track from his forthcoming new album.

This time, it’s the turn of his third effort’s title track, ‘Shedding Skin’ (featuring Melanie De Biasio) which - according to Obaro Ejimiwe himself - details a life in the day of a homeless person.

“This is about the homeless people I’ve come across over the course of my life thus far,” he told DIY. “I wanted to portray what they may go through and have to put up with on a daily basis. It was a joy and a blessing to have Melanie De Biasio on board, such a talented lady, she took the song to another place…”

His newest offering has been revealed ahead of the release of his third full-length on 2nd March 2015 via PIAS - listen to ‘Shedding Skin’ below.
