Gia Ford returns with louche new single ‘How Do I Reply?’

Ever one to keep us on our toes, Gia Ford is back with a brand new track entitled ‘How Do I Reply?’, a follow up to last year’s standalone single ‘God’.

Together, the pair of songs are the first new music from Gia since the arrival of her debut album ‘Transparent Things’ back in 2024, and land ahead of her upcoming Independent Venue Week mini-tour - that’ll include stops in Portsmouth, Cardiff, Hull, and Glasgow, as well as a hometown turn in Sheffield.

Speaking about ‘How Do I Reply?’ - a laid-back, breezy number with deceptively existential lyrics - Gia has noted that “it’s about as no-frills as I’ll ever go, but that’s what makes it fun”. Continuing, she explains: “I managed to keep it within my universe contextually - it was inspired by a Hermann Hesse poem.”
