Girl Band, The Magic Gang and Hooton Tennis Club to play Roundhouse Rising tonight - watch live

Tonight sees the first ever DIY Presents Roundhouse Rising showcase taking place in Camden, London.

Dubliners Girl Band headline a bill that reads like a who’s who of exciting talent. They’re joined by Object Object, Brighton force The Magic Gang and Liverpool newcomers Hooton Tennis Club, who’ve just inked a deal with Heavenly Recordings.

The gig’s sold out, but worry not - we’ll be live-streaming the whole thing below, from 7pm.

Girl Band’s Alan Duggan spoke to DIY about the group’s plans for a full-length on Rough Trade, and why they like to inject sense of humour into their vicious noise rock.

It’s early days for The Magic Gang, but already they’re a fixture of a Brighton scene that’s springing up more exciting names by the day. A big part of that is their hub of a shared house, which is basically a makeshift studio for prolific output. Read our introductory chat here.
