Girlpool step into the haze with ‘Pretty’ video

There’s nothing barely-there or hard-to-pinpoint on Girlpool’s debut album ‘Before the World Was Big’, but that’s the route this duo take on their video for ‘Pretty’.

A series of suspended moments faintly linked together, the intimate and hazy clip comes directed by close friend Alyssa Yohana. Most shots last one or two seconds, but they could easily pave way for an entirely new story. In many ways, it’s a more abstract introduction to the direct delivery of Girlpool’s first work.

Premiering on DIY, the video lands ahead of a UK tour (including a DIY Presents London Scala show), plus European festival appearances.
