Feeding time
Goat Girl are force-feeding you their new video for ‘Scum’
Prepare for two minutes of baby food indulgence
South London four-piece Goat Girl recently unveiled their strobe-filled video for ‘Country Sleaze.’ For their latest clip, the in-your-face ‘Scum’, they’ve decided to go easy on the lights but hard on the baby food. Seriously.
A whole host of people are force fed a variety of disgusting-looking baby foods in glorious close-up. It’s a good job that ‘Scum’ is less than two minutes long, because it’s kind of hard to watch sloppy porridge and tinned spaghetti dripping from people’s faces.
This is probably all a clever metaphor for that bold line where Goat Girl ask “how can an entire nation be so fucking thick?” But it’s still pretty gross. And some of these people seem to be enjoying this just a little bit too much.
See if you can stomach the video below, and check out their upcoming tour dates. They play the opening night of DIY’s Hello 2017 London residency.
