Goat Girl announce orchestral reimagining of ‘Below The Waste’
The trio are collating different versions of tracks from their 2024 third album into a new EP.

Having just celebrated the one year anniversary of 2024’s ‘Below The Waste’, South London favourites Goat Girl have now unveiled plans to release a companion EP, ‘Below The Waste - Orchestrated’.
Due for release on 18th June, the project will arrive ahead of the band’s debut North America headline tour, and will see the trio reinvent four tracks from their last record - ‘sleep talk’, ‘perhaps’, ‘tcnc’, and ‘wasting’ - with the help of a DIY chamber ensemble of rising young musicians.
Our first taste of these classical re-imaginings comes in the form of ‘sleep talk (chamber ensemble)’, on which the original song’s mellotron parts are replaced by a moving string quartet.
