Grimes returns with ‘We Appreciate Power’ ft HANA

New music from Grimes is finally here! After teasing the comeback earlier this week, Claire Boucher has now returned with new song ‘We Appreciate Power’ ft frequent collaborator HANA.

It’s the singer’s first new solo music since 2015’s ‘Art Angels’ LP.

But despite the time we’ve been waiting for new Grimes solo work, she’s been pretty busy regardless. Recently she’s shared a potential tracklist and some clips of new music, as well as announcing that she’s written the theme tune to new Netflix series Hilda, before teaming up with former Mindless Self Indulgence frontman Jimmy Urine on a track for his new project EURINGER(!), guesting on the new Bring Me The Horizon album(!) and releasing ‘Play Destroy’, a collaboration with Poppy.

She also appears on ‘Pynk’ from Janelle Monáe’s latest album ‘Dirty Computer’.

Whether ‘We Appreciate Power’ is the first preview of an upcoming new album from Grimes, we’re yet to know, but enjoy it on its own for now. Watch its lyric video below.
