Janelle Monáe shares new track ‘Pynk’, ft Grimes
The ‘Dirty Computer’ track is the pair’s first collaboration since ‘Art Angels’ cut ‘Venus Fly’.
Back in 2015, Janelle Monáe contributed a standout track to Grimes’ brilliant ‘Art Angels’ LP in the form of ‘Venus Fly’.
She’s releasing her new album ‘Dirty Computer’ at the end of the month, and has shared a new track with Claire Boucher.
‘Pynk’ follows ‘Django Jane’ and ‘Make Me Feel’ in previewing the follow-up to 2013’s ‘The Electric Lady’, and is a significantly lighter cut than ‘Venus Fly’, and sits alongside ‘Make Me Feel’ as another step towards the singer embracing her new popstar status.
‘Dirty Computer’ is out on 27th April. Listen to ‘Pynk’ below.
