Grizzly Bear Leg Of ATP I’ll Be Your Mirror Rescheduled
The second day of this year’s weekender has been postponed until November, due to two headliners pulling out.
It’s not long at all until ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror descends upon London’s Alexandra Palace once more, but now, it’s looking as though things aren’t going to happen as originally planned.
Whilst New York’s most iconic three-piece Yeah Yeah Yeahs are due to headline the first day of proceedings on 4th May, Grizzly Bear were scheduled to perform the following day.
However, now, according to a statement from ATP themselves, the 5th May event has been postponed until November, after two headliners pulled out of the event.
‘Today we have to announce the postponement of the Grizzly Bear day of I’ll Be Your Mirror London which was due to take place on May 5th. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs day will go ahead as planned on May 4th.
The main reason for this is that two of the anticipated headliners pulled out - making this day’s event unviable at this current stage, and rather than putting on a day that isn’t worthy of our headliners and of the standard of ATP events, ATP and Grizzly Bear have decided that rather than cancelling, their show will be moved to Saturday November 2nd.’
Tickets are the Grizzly Bear day will remain valid for the new date, and refunds are available from point of purchase.
The ATP I’ll Be Your Mirror events will now take place as follows.
MAY
04 Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Locust, Black Lips @ Alexandra Palace, London
NOVEMBER
02 Grizzly Bear, James Murphy (DJ), The Walkmen @ Alexandra Palace, London
