Grizzly Bear, Tim Burgess & John Grant Join Latitude Bill
Austra, Flamingods, Theme Park, Flume and Junip also join the line-up for this year’s event.
We’re very big fans of Latitude Festival here at DIY, and we were already mightily impressed by their initial line-up announcement last month.
With the likes of Kraftwerk, Bloc Party and Foals all set to headline, alongside Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Hot Chip, CHVRCHES, Alt J, Japandroids, The Maccabees, Modest Mouse, James Blake and Jessie Ware, the event’s organisers are focussed on guaranteeing you a fantastic weekend.
Now, they’re set to raise the bar even higher with a selection of new musical additions to this year’s event. Today, Grizzly Bear, Tim Burgess, Austra, John Grant, Amateur Best and Theme Park are just a taste of the artists that have been confirmed to appear.
The full list of new musical acts set to appear is: Grizzly Bear, Richard Thomas Electric Trio, Rudimental, Stornoway, Tim Burgess, John Grant, Duane Eddy, Amateur Best, Austra, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Flamingods, Flume, Ed Harcourt, Half Moon Run, James Skelly & The Intenders, James Yorkston, Joe Banfi, Junip, Matt Corby, Milo Greene, Nick Mulvey, Night Engine, Ruen Brothers, Teleman and Theme Park.
There’ll also be the airing of British Sea Power’s score for Penny Woolcock’s film ‘From The Sea To The Land Beyond’, comedy performances from Sean Lock, Russell Kane and Andrew Maxwell, as well as literary guests Marcel Theroux and Owen Sheers. For the full line-up of comedy and literature additions, head to their website
Latitude will take place from 18th - 21st July at Henham Park in Suffolk. Tickets are on sale now.
