Gruff Rhys & Phil Collins Collaborate On Limited Edition Single
‘Y Baban Bach’ will be released as a 300 copy, limited-edition 7” single
Gruff Rhys and Phil Collins have collaborated on a new limited edition single.
Before you get too excited, we’re talking Turner Prize nominated, Berlin-based artist Phil Collins and not the Easy Lover who promised us Another Day In Paradise.
Rhys teamed up with Collins to work on the soundtrack to his short film ‘The Meaning Of Style’ and produced track ‘Y Baban Bach’, which will be released as a 300 copy, limited-edition 7” single available only at Gruff’s forthcoming UK tour dates.
The short film itself will be shown at The Museum Of Contemporary Art in Tokyo from 23rd September 2011 to 9th January 2012.
