Gulp are back with new track ‘Morning Velvet Sky’

Way back in December last year, Super Furry Animals’ Guto Pryce and Lindsey Leven shared the cosmic ‘Search For Your Love’.

Now they’ve revealed that the follow up to their album ‘Season Sun’ is on the way, due to be released sometime in early 2018! Before then though, the pair are whetting the appetite with another new one, ‘Morning Velvet Sky’. It’s another slice of intergalactic space-pop from the duo, propelling itself on vintage arpeggiated synths lifted to the stratosphere by Lindsey’s airy vocals.

Speaking of the track, the band said: “‘Morning Velvet Sky is a song about dawn, with arpeggiating machines. The intent of Morning Velvet Sky is to wrap the listener in a blanket of the fuzzy feeling created by waking up on a warm dewy morning and having appreciation for the beauty in nature when things may not be perfect”.
