Gulp reveal new ‘Search For Your Love’ video

Remember when Gulp’s Lindsey Leven said that she gets “really vivid dreams” and that one of them was the inspiration for the band’s latest single ‘Search For Your Love’?

Well, the track’s new video has also come about from a similar case of serendipity. Director Mark James explains in a statement that after journeying back from a Super Furry Animals gig one night, they came upon a broken digital screen that flickered away and created psychedelic patterns.

“I thought it could be great to use this as the basis for the video. Creating a loose narrative with the bus stop,” he says. “We filmed the display for the length of the track, and using it as it happens. It was kind of a happy accident.” You wouldn’t know the video was created with a bus stop though, as it looks more like it’s set in a surreal world that matches up with the track’s cosmic tones perfectly.

Lindsey and bandmate Guto Pryce (of Super Furry Animals fame) have also announced a show at The Social in London on 14th February (aka the perfect day to ‘Search For Your Love’).
