Haiku Hands share the superbly fun ‘Jupiter’
The band play the DIY showcase at next month’s The Great Escape.
Every weekday, DIY’s new music know-it-all Neu brings you one essential new release to get obsessed with. Today’s Neu Pick comes from Haiku Hands.
The follow-up to debut single ‘Not About You’, ‘Jupiter’ - the new track from Aussie trio Haiku Hands - is a superbly catchy, energetic shot in the arm for your Monday afternoon.
Helmed by a choppy guitar line lent from the Nile Rodgers school of shredding, chanted vocals amp up the track’s feeling of unabashed fun, and ‘Jupiter’ is a simply grin-enducing cut.
The Melbourne via Sydney trio are set to play the DIY showcase at Horatio’s Bar on Brighton Pier for this year’s The Great Escape on 19th May, alongside Canshaker Pi, Alaskalaska, Drahla and more.
