Hard Rock Cafe Host Second Guitar Amnesty For Charity

If you’d like to take part, simply deliver your guitar to a UK Hard Rock Cafe.

Hard Rock Cafe have launched their now-annual (it’s in its second year) Guitar Amnesty. The nation-wide scheme sees them collect old and broken guitars which will be fixed up and passed on to disadvantaged children in conjunction with Barnardo’s.

Marc Carey - Regional Sales and Marketing Europe - commented: ‘Hard Rock Cafe is urging as many people as possible to help us with this fantastic scheme. It doesn’t matter what condition the guitar is in our expert guitar technician will make them as good as new. The work Barnado’s do is incredible and we’re proud to be supporting them in their work with children across the UK.’

If you’d like to take part, simply deliver your guitar to a UK Hard Rock Cafe. The condition is not an issue, as the neck, strings, tuning pegs and pickups can be used in rebuilding of other instruments. In return for donating a guitar, members of the public will receive and a Hard Rock goodie bag.
