Have Daft Punk Been Working With Giorgio Moroder?
The Italian disco producer is best known for his work with the likes of Donna Summer, on her smash hit ‘I Feel Love’.
There are all sorts of rumours when it comes to the latest offering from Daft Punk, especially in terms of who they might be recording with, and there’s a new one on the block.
This time, disco legend Giorgio Moroder is taking the role, having spoken at Ibiza’s International Music Summit about working with the band.
Urb report the following details: ‘The robots asked the Munich Machine to go into a vocal booth and speak about his life. In the studio were multiple microphones of various vintages from the ’60s to today. When Moroder asked the engineer why they had so many mics, he replied that the mic they would use would depend on what decade of his life he was speaking about. When Moroder asked if anyone would know the difference, the engineer replied “They will know.”’
