Hear Shamir in session for BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens
Sound of 2015 longlister played ‘On the Regular’ and new track ‘In For The Kill’.
Las Vegas-bred, XL-signed newcomer Shamir Bailey visited BBC Radio 1 to perform a session for Huw Stephens at London’s Maida Vale Studios last week.
In between an interview with the host, Shamir plays a couple of songs: Gigantic single ‘On the Regular’, ‘I Know It’s a Good Thing’ (from his debut ‘Northtown’ EP) and a brand new song, ‘In The The Kill’.
A debut album is due out in spring 2015, Shamir confirmed in the interview.
