Hear Thom Yorke and Robert Del Naja’s score for tax avoidance film ‘The UK Gold’
Johnny Greenwood and Euan Dickinson also feature on the film, directed by Mark Donne.
As previously reported, Thom Yorke and Massive Attack’s 3D (Robert Del Naja) have scored the soundtrack for a film about the tax avoidance industry, ‘The UK Gold’. You can now stream the entire soundtrack in full.
Bringing together resolutely minimal electronica (think Yorke’s ‘The Eraser’ scattered with moments of ‘Where Bluebirds Fly’), the soundtrack also features contributions from Johnny Greenwood and Euan Dickinson.
Speaking about the tax avoidance industry, Yorke says: “Now is the time to reveal the revolving doors between government and the City that has bred lies and corruption for so long, siphoning money through our tax havens for the global super rich, while now preaching that we the people must pay our taxes and suffer austerity. Just who does our government work for?”
Mark Donne directs ‘The UK Gold’, which airs tonight at 8pm on London Live.
