Hello Pink Mist

Big Scary Monsters, Holy Roar and Blood & Biscuits announce new collective

Big Scary Monsters, Holy Roar and Blood & Biscuits have announced that they’re banding together to form a new collective (see what we did there?). Pink Mist will join together three labels, each with their own individual niche, but with a shared attitude.

The three labels are hardly strangers. Having collaborated in the past on releases, tours and common goals, they’ve worked alongside each other to give us acts like Rolo Tomassi, Three Trapped Tigers, Pulled Apart By Horses, Gallows, Adebisi Shank, Meet Me In St Louis, Tubelord, Throats, Dananananaykroyd, Gallops, This Town Needs Guns, Tall Ships, Holy State and many, many more. Not to mention releases by U.S acts such as Andrew W.K, Trash Talk, Kevin Devine and Walter Schreifels (Rival Schools).

And that’s not all. The debut release from the honeymooning three-way is to be titled ‘Hello Pink Mist’, and will be appropriately released on Record Store Day aka 16th April 2011. The 12’ LP will come on pink and white vinyl and will feature 12 exclusive tracks from all three label’s current rosters, including some new additions to the fold.

16th April will be a busy day for the collective, as they’re also hosting a launch party at Notting Hill Arts Club, complete with performances from Pink Mist artists.

The first Pink Mist tour will be kicking off in May with Three Trapped Tigers and Tall Ships heading out on the road together.
