Honeyblood explode just about everything in ‘Super Rat’ video
Glasgow duo self-destruct hearts and smash perfectly edible jelly in their new clip.
It makes complete, perfect sense for Honeyblood to explode lots of things in a video for their ‘Super Rat’ single, a song based around the brutal lyric: “I will hate you forever”.
Strawberries are squashed, hearts are self-destructed, white tennis dresses are turned into red mush. It’s a messy, cathartic affair, symbolic to the extreme.
The track’s taken from Honeyblood’s self-titled debut album, out this week on FatCat Records. It picked up a 5 star verdict in the latest issue of DIY.
