Glasgow duo Honeyblood are previewing their brilliant self-titled debut album with a killer cut, ‘Super Rat’.

Crawling out from the sewer and into the system, it’s a track devoted to the “smartest rat” in the UK’s formidable drainage system. A “scumbag” and a “slimeball”, the subject of this song is responsible for one of the year’s best closing chorus lines - “You really do disgust me.”

A strung out, shouty anthem in the making, it compares love to a crocodile and never looks back.

Listen below - the debut Honeyblood album is out on 14th July via FatCat. It was produced by Peter Katis at his Tarquin Studios. Pre-order here.
