Honeyblood unveil new Record Store Day Single ‘The Black Cloud’

Get queuing – ‘The Black Cloud’ will be available as a limited 7” for Record Store Day

It’s that time of year; as record collectors and fans tot up their spare change and write up their long lists of desired Record Store Day purchases. Honeyblood have released their contribution ‘The Black Cloud’ and it’s certainly list-worthy.

‘The Black Cloud’ is more chipper than we’ve seen Honeyblood of late. Harking back to the scuzzy, fuzzy riffs of Honeyblood in their early years, the Glaswegian duo are ready to soundtrack a long, hazy summer. Speaking to The Line Of Best Fit one half of the Honeyblood- Stina Tweeddale had this to say of ‘The Black Cloud’:

“‘The Black Cloud’ is an ode to the people who keep you strong. Everyone has days when they feel like it’s over, it’s just good to remember that it will always pass. I’m also excited about this one as it’s a bit heavier and fast-paced than many songs on the album.”

‘The Black Cloud’ alongside previous release ‘No Big Deal’ will be available via FatCat Records on limited edition 7” this Record Store Day, with a pressing of 750 copies.
