Hooton Tennis Club share video for ‘Jasper’

Last week we premiered Hooton Tennis Club’s debut single ‘Jasper’, which is set to be released 23rd February via Heavenly Recordings. Backed with the b-side ‘Standing Knees’, the single was produced by fellow Liverpudlian Bill Ryder Jones and recorded at Jones’ mum’s house.

The video for ‘Jasper’ features the quartet taking it in turns to hit the drums with flowers and sticks, located at muddy marshes and coast lines on the Wirral peninsula. Aesthetically matching a lo-fi track, there’s also footage of the group performing live, all of which is shot through a double gazed filter.

Hooton Tennis Club will be on tour in the UK in February, providing support for their labelmates H. Hawkline as well as some solo shows to mark the single release. The group will play the following:
