HUNTAR streams new track, ‘Bitter’
South Londoner’s track packs a emotionally-wrung core - listen now.
Midway through 2014, a South London producer named HUNTAR emerged with intentionally mysterious beginnings, murky pop tracks dosed up on romance.
Bit by bit, it looks like the still-anonymous newcomer’s breaking out of his shell. Before, it was all about production tricks. Now he’s stepping out as a genuine pop artist in his own right.
‘Bitter’ is less about aesthetic, more a direct call to arms: “I don’t wanna face you all alone. I need a helping hand with you by my side,” he pledges, in an emotionally to-the-point statement not far removed from what Raleigh Ritchie’s doing right now.
The new track is taken from an EP of the same name, out 8th December. Pre-order here.
