Ibibio Sound Machine to release new album, ‘Doko Mien’ this spring
The Londoners also head out on tour in March.
Londoners Ibibio Sound Machine are to release a new album this spring.
‘Doko Mien’ (Ibibio for ‘tell me’) will be out on 22nd March via Merge, It’s the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Uyai’.
“Music is a universal language, but spoken language can help you think about what makes you emotional, what makes you feel certain feelings, what you want to see in the world,” says frontwoman Eno Williams.
