Going noir
Iceage bring tension and tears to their ‘Against the Moon’ video
Piano-led piece is taken from ‘Plowing Into the Field of Love’.
Iceage have unveiled the video for ‘Against the Moon’, a track from this year’s ‘Plowing Into the Field of Love’ video.
Starring German actor Dan van Husen, Martin Masai Andersen and Kim Thue transport the track into a striking, cinematic setting. With enough drama fit for a short film, it sees van Husen tear-eyed, watching on as a topless stranger bends shapes and appears to cry out for help. Film noir to the extreme, it’s a fitting companion for the stark centrepiece on ‘Plowing…’, the only moment of reflection on an otherwise storming blast of frustration.
‘Plowing Into the Field of Love’ is out now on Matador.
