The duo will be leaving their native Sweden next month.

Icona Pop have revealed that they have plans to move to London.

The duo will be leaving their native Sweden next month in order to set up shop in the UK capital.

Speaking in an interview with DIY, Caroline disclosed that the forthcoming move is ‘a little bit scary,’ but that they’re ‘really looking forward’ to it.

The pair will relocate following their signing to Mercury, she went on to explain: ‘Basically, we have a record company there, Mercury, and we feel that it’s time now. We’ve been working so hard here in the studio, working 24/7 for a year, and now it’s time to get out there.’

She continues to explain how they’re just about ready for their sudden success: ‘Aino and I always create our little own world wherever we go, and now we feel it’s time to let the rest of the world come into our Icona Pop world.’

Icona Pop are currently working on their debut album. You can read the interview in full later this week.
