Idlewild announce 25th anniversary shows
The group will be playing some special shows this November.
First forming in Edinburgh back in 1995, Idlewild have announced that they’ll be celebrating their 25 years together with a special run of anniversary shows this November.
“When Rod, Colin and I met and formed Idlewild in 1995, I don’t suppose any of us expected that we’d still be playing shows and recording songs together twenty five years later,” frontman and singer Roddy Woomble says. “It feels great to get the chance to celebrate the records and songs we have made together over the last quarter of a century with our fans, and these very special concerts will feature all the band members who have been part of the Idlewild family and story since 1995.”
Kicking off in Cardiff on 4th November, the group will be bringing their ‘An Evening with Idlewild’ event across the UK, finishing in Edinburgh on the 14th.
