For real?
It looks like Rihanna is coming back at this year’s GRAMMYs
Date of 8th February has been set by the awards.
The GRAMMY Awards just dropped the biggest hint yet that a Rihanna return is imminent.
Taking to their official Twitter account, they posted eight anchor symbols.
Let’s put that in RiRi terms:
- Anchor = The Rihanna Navy.
- Eight times = R8 aka the new Rihanna album aka this is actually happening.
On this basis, the great long-awaited Rihanna comeback is set to happen on 8th February.
Yesterday, an image emerged showing team RiRi registering new song names, appearing to show guest contributions from Florence and the Machine and Paul Epworth. Some have speculated that the newly registered Rihanna song ‘A Night’ might come with a full-blown Florence ft. Others have suggested that it might be a song sampling Florence’s song ‘Only If For A Night‘. Either way, it’s news from the Rihanna camp, and that is good enough for the time being.
