Everything Everything and Plan B are both up for two awards.

The nominees for the 56th Ivor Novello awards - which celebrate songwriting and composing - have been revealed this morning.

Everything Everything are up for two gongs (Best Song Musically & Lyrically, and the Album Award), as is Plan B (Album Award, and Most Performed), whilst the likes of Villagers, Bombay Bicycle Club, Foals and The XX also put in appearances.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Thursday 19th May 2011 at the Grosvenor House, London.
