Jaakko Eino Kalevi shares new track and video, ‘Deeper Shadows’

Jaakko Eino Kalevi has shared a new track and video, titled ‘Deeper Shadows’.

The new cut is the second single pulled from Kalevi’s upcoming self-titled debut album, following the release of lead track ‘Double Talk’ in March. ‘Jaakko Eino Kalevi’ is out 15th June via Domino Records imprint Weirld World.

Directed by Charlotte Rutherford, the clip stars Kalevi and collaborator Suad Khalifa as the gatekeepers to a hypnotic and colourful otherworld. Mixing medieval age melodies with moonlight-futurism, ‘Deeper Shadows’ is a curious oddity into Kalevi’s brand of alternative dream-pop.

Jaakko Eino Kalevi has also announced details of an album launch show in London as well as dates supporting Unknown Mortal Orchestra on the latter’s UK and European tour beginning in September. Catch him on the following dates:
