James Blake gets dark in his ‘I Need A Forest Fire’ video
Never mind a forest fire - this man’s in dire need of a wind-up torch!

That cheeky James Blake likes to keep everyone on their toes, doesn’t he? Mere days on from giving fanboys and fangirls everywhere mini heart attacks with the surprise release of his third album ‘The Colour In Anything,’ he’s shared the video ‘I Need A Forest Fire’ - his collaboration with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon.
Directed by UVA, the video shows our James looking very pensive as occult glinting lights, sinister ravens, and pendulums swing around some sort of very important-looking branch, casting light over moody statues, and geometric frames. It’s all very minimal stuff, taking its cues from a similarly sparse song.
