Jamie T’s new album is less than 1,000 copies away from the #1 spot

Jamie T’s fourth album ‘Trick’ is currently at the #2 spot in the UK’s Official Albums Chart, just 750 copies behind the current chart-topper.

Midweek figures show country music duo Ward Thomas’ ‘Cartwheels’ to be narrowly in front of ‘Trick’. The Hampshire duo’s first album, ‘From Where We Stand’, charted at #41 in 2014.

Other new entries include Wretch 32’s ‘Growing Over Life’, in at #4, and The Divine Comedy’s ‘Growing Over Life’. There’s also Izzy Bizu’s debut, ‘A Moment of Madness’, currently at #20 and Angel Olsen’s ‘My Woman’, at #33.
