Jamie T unveils new ‘Zombie’ single
Check out the latest track from his third album, ‘Carry On The Grudge’.
On the same day as announcing his biggest ever tour dates, Jamie T has shared a new single from his ‘Carry on the Grudge’ record.
‘Zombie’ confirms that after years out the spotlight, Jamie is officially back from the dead. Linking up with ‘Don’t You Find’, the low key re-arrival unveiled last month, this is a more in-your-face take from the record. Amped up to the extreme, it’s the sound of Jamie regaining his upbeat frame of mind.
The track’s about an arrested development and teenage angst, according to the Londoner. “It was quite a shock to me to find out that it hadn’t gone anywhere, it was just presenting itself in slightly more immature ways,” he explained to Radio 1’s Zane Lowe in an interview.
Out 22nd September, it just gained its first play on Zane’s show - stream it below those newly announced UK tour dates (UK listeners only). ‘Carry on the Grudge’ is out 29th September via Virgin EMI.
