Jamie Woon’s Label Looking For New Artists?

Jamie Woon’s record label, Candent Songs, might be looking for new artists in the not too distant future.
Speaking to DIY, Woon said that the label, which he runs with long time friend and collaborator Royce, will be ‘bringing out a range of stuff.’
‘We’re going to put some of his [Royce’s] stuff out and then we’ll be looking. There are quite a few friends that I’ve sown a seed with if they’re up for it. I need to learn a bit more about running it as well so that I can make sure I do right by people.’

Jamie Woon’s debut album ‘Mirrorwriting’ will be released on 18th April 2011. The singer-songwriter will be heading out on the road in May in support of his album. Woon will also perform at Beacons Festival in Skipton later this year, alongside the likes of Jamie XX and Mount Kimbie.
