Jamie xx airs planetary ‘Gosh’ video, announces UK tour

Jamie xx’s ‘Gosh’ track is rooted in the buzzing clubs of the UK and beyond, but its accompanying video exists outside of the planet altogether.

Directed by Erik Wernquist, ‘Gosh’’s new video explores the surface of planet Earth, peering in from a distance before scouring the rocky layers. It’s all in the name of Earth’s trusty trick of “keeping the vibe alive,” as summed up in the track’s closing sample.

‘Gosh’ is taken from Jamie xx’s solo debut ‘In Colour’. ‘Girl’, ‘Sleep Sound’ and ‘Loud Places’ (featuring Romy from The xx) also appear on the LP. It’s out 1st June via Young Turks.

Alongside the new video, Jamie xx has announced huge new UK shows, including London’s Brixton Academy.
