Jamie xx and Four Tet to team up for BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix
Both artists collaborate on a track from Jamie xx’s solo debut.
Jamie xx and Four Tet are set to collaborate on this weekend’s BBC Essential Mix, airing from 4am on Sunday 29th March, reports FACT.
The mix follows news that both producers are collaborating for Jamie xx’s solo debut, ‘In Colour’.
Due out this June, the new album is set to feature a collaboration with Four Tet and The xx’s Romy Madley Croft, titled ‘Seesaw’.
Both Jamie xx and Four Tet contribute to ‘Continuum’, a one-off Record Store Day release on Young Turks, featuring the former’s ‘Alba’ track.
Jamie xx is currently previewing music from his debut album on jamiexx.com (wait for the bleep test to end).
