Jamie xx Teams Up With Sound Visualization Artist Quayola
Quayola and Jamie will be performing together for a four hour show.

Not long ago it was announced that Friendly Fires and Jamie xx would take part in a new project, RizLab.
Rizla have teamed up with Moshi Moshi founder Stephen Bass and Eat Your Own Ears’ Tom Baker to host a variety one-off artistic events, which aim to create ‘interesting and innovative music experiences.’
It was all a bit vague at the time, but we now know what Jamie xx is going to do: he’ll collaborate with sound visualization artist Quayola.
Quayola uses custom-built software called Partitura - which converts sound into images - and has exhibited at the V&A, the BFI and the Royal Albert Hall amongst others.
He and Jamie will be performing together for four hours on 11th August in London.
