Jenny Hval’s new album is streaming in full

Listen to ‘Blood Bitch’ ahead of its 30th September release.

Jenny Hval is streaming her new, sixth studio album in full.

‘Blood Bitch’ follows 2015’s ‘Apocalypse, Girl’, and it’s due out 30th September via Sacred Bones. Jenny describes the album as an “investigation of blood,” explaining: “Blood that is shed naturally. The white and red toilet roll chain which ties together the virgins, the whores, the mothers, the witches, the dreamers, and the lovers.”

The album includes ‘Female Vampire’, ‘Period Piece’ and lead single ‘Conceptual Romance’. It’s streaming in full over on NPR Music’s ‘First Listen’.

Jenny Hval plays October UK dates at Glasgow Stereo (17th), Manchester’s Soup Kitchen (18th) and London Oslo, with Kelly Lee Owens (19th).
