John Eatherly shares ‘BURNOUT’, announces London show
It’s the latest solo single from the Public Access TV frontman.
Public Access TV frontman John Eatherly is sharing a brand new vid today AND announcing a special show that DIY are putting on with Bird on the Wire later this year. He’s really spoiling us, tbh.
Releasing the video for ‘Burnout’ today, the visuals are part Stephen King’s ‘Misery’, part weird couple game, as we see actor Oli Green playing a writer who is kidnapped by model of the moment Kaia Gerber.
“‘Burnout’ has two meanings,” John explains of the track. “One side is about the frustration of feeling like you don’t belong and how boring it can be when people all try to fit the same mold. The other side is about the romantic ‘rockstar’ fantasy of living a checked out blissful life of excess. That doesn’t tend to end well. The key is to never give a shit about anyone’s approval other than your own.”
Also being announced today is an exciting show taking place on 4th December at London’s The Waiting Room. Joined by Vinyl Staircase, John will be wowing the crowds with his debut solo performance and you can grab your tickets to that here.
