Johnny Marr shares ‘I Feel You’ video
He’s covered Depeche Mode for a limited Record Store Day release.
One name on that big, long, barely-penetrable list of special releases for this year’s Record Store Day unveiled last week was a certain Johnny Marr, who’s covered fellow ‘veterans’ Depeche Mode for a 7”.
He’s also now shared a video for ‘I Feel You’, a track which was a hit for the Essex band way back in 1993, and which Marr played live during the final few dates of his North American tour late last year.
The B-side of the 7”, out (obviously) on 18th April, is a live version of The Smiths’ ‘Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want’.
Marr is to join The Who at British Summer Time, on 26th June at Hyde Park in London, after playing his own dates this month and supporting Paul Weller at the Royal Albert Hall for Teenage Cancer Trust.
