Kanye West cancels Los Angeles show after a troubled week

Over the weekend, he walked off stage in Sacramento, after three songs, and an ad-libbed speech.

Kanye West cancelled his show at The Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday after a troubled week of live incidents.

West was planning to visit L.A to “makeup” for a November show he cut short after losing his voice. However, the day of the show, the venue confirmed that the gig was cancelled.

On Saturday in Sacramento, West was an hour late on stage, and performed three songs, before addressing the crowd with an ad-libbed speech. Among other things, he claimed that Beyonce had refused to play the MTV Music Awards unless she was given the Video of the Year award over Drake and Kanye West. He also addressed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Jay-Z directly.

“Get ready to have a field day, press, get ready,” he concluded, after speaking about Hillary Clinton, Google, and poor radio representation, among other things. “The show’s over,” he added, before leaving the stage, and 13,000 pissed off fans, behind.

Kanye West was also criticised for telling his audience in San Jose that he didn’t vote in the US election, but would’ve voted for Donald Trump.
