Kanye West “not showing up to the Grammys” if Frank Ocean isn’t nominated

With news leaking last week that Frank Ocean isn’t eligible for any Grammy nominations for either ‘Blonde’ or ‘Endless’, Kanye’s taking a stand - he won’t be turning up unless Frank gets a nom.

“A lot of people, they try to make it seem like I’m so self-centered,” he said on stage in Oakland over the weekend, “but the album I’ve listened to the most this year is the Frank Ocean album. And I’ll tell you this right now: if his album’s not nominated in no categories, I’m not showing up to the Grammys. As artists we’ve got to come together to fight the bullshit.”

The thing with that is, latest reports suggest Frank deliberately didn’t submit himself for consideration. Perhaps because he doesn’t care. Of course, it’s possible that Yeezus knows more than us about the whole debacle…
