Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’ was streamed on Tidal bloody loads of times
The long-awaited new album brought 250 million streams to the fledgling service in just 10 days.
Good things come to those who wait, or so they say. It’s certainly true of Kanye West’s ‘The Life Of Pablo’, and it’s proven true of Tidal, ‘Ye’s streaming platform of choice.In new figures released to mark one year since that frankly bizarre launch of the platform, it’s been revealed that in its first ten days, ‘The Life Of Pablo’ surpassed 250 million streams. That’s loads.No doubt helped by Kanye’s insistence on Tidal being the only platform ‘The Life Of Pablo’ would ever be available on, its nevertheless an impressive stat. Alongside this, Tidal have also revealed that in the past 12 months they’ve added 2.5 million paid subscribers to the service, a marked improvement on its undoubtedly patchy start.
